Brand mentions on X
New on the Growth plan: we scan X for mentions of your brand and pin each one to your Visitors over time chart, next to your notes and deploys.
A tweet does numbers, you see the traffic — but you're left guessing which post caused it. Brand mentions closes that gap.
Under Settings → Mentions you give us up to five search terms: your brand name, a product name, your @handle, your domain. Every half hour we search X for new posts matching them. The first pass looks back a couple of days and can take a few hours to fill in; after that, new mentions appear within about half an hour of being posted.
On the chart, not in a silo
Every mention is pinned to your Visitors over time chart at the time it was posted — right alongside the notes you add yourself and, if you've connected GitHub, your deploys. Hover a marked point to read what was said; tap it to open the chart's Mentions tab, where each one links straight to the original post.
When a scan turns up something new, we email you a short digest so you don't have to keep checking.
Availability
Brand mentions is part of the Growth plan. X coverage is roughly the last seven days of posts, so a mention older than that when you first switch it on won't be picked up.
What shipped
- NewBrand mentions (Growth plan): give us a few search terms — your brand name, a product, your @handle — and we scan 𝕏 for new posts every half hour. Each mention shows up on your Visitors over time chart at the moment it was posted, so a traffic bump lines up with the post behind it. Hover a point to read it, or open the chart's new Mentions tab for the full list with links out. You also get a short email digest when new ones turn up. Turn it on under Settings → Mentions.
- NewFetch your site's live visitor count as JSON from a public, CORS-enabled endpoint and drop it anywhere on your own site — the same number behind the Realtime widget, without the styled iframe. There's a copy-paste example on the Realtime tab under Settings → Widget, gated by the same public-widget opt-in.
- ImprovedConnecting a Polar payment account now surfaces Polar's actual explanation when something's wrong with the details you entered, instead of a generic rejection message.
